How To Access KJSEA and KPSEA School Specific Report

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has issued a guide explaining how schools can access and download their school-specific reports for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA).

In a notice shared on its official platforms, KNEC outlined the step-by-step process that head teachers should follow through the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) portal to obtain the reports.

According to KNEC, schools should begin by opening the CBA portal through their website and signing in using their official school credentials.

Before proceeding, KNEC advised users to confirm that the profile displayed in the top-right corner of the portal is set to “Head teacher.”

How To Access Reports

KNEC noted that the report will be downloaded in PDF format and, in most cases, will be saved automatically in the device’s Downloads folder unless the web browser prompts the user to select a different location.

The council further urged schools to verify the downloaded report before using it.

Head teachers have been advised to check that the school name is correct, confirm the centre code and other related details, and ensure the report type matches the intended assessment, whether KPSEA or KJSEA.

The guidance is intended to help schools access the correct assessment reports through the official digital platform and avoid errors when retrieving the documents.

The CBA Portal

The instructions also clarify that the report displayed above the download button on the portal is the active document selected for download, allowing users to verify their choice before proceeding.

KNEC regularly uses the CBA portal to provide schools with assessment-related services under Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), including access to assessment records and school-specific reports.
