Ruto Praises Wiper MP for Joining UDA

President William Ruto has thanked a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Wiper Patriotic Front for joining the government development agenda.

In a statement on Friday, October 10, Ruto said he met Lower Eastern leaders at State House, Nairobi.

He thanked Mwingi West MP Charles Ngusya Nguna of the Wiper Party led by Kalonzo Musyoka.

Nguna was among the leaders present at the State House meeting.

“I specially thank Mwingi West MP Charles Ngusya Nguna of the Wiper Party for his bold move to join our team to push forward the development agenda in his constituency,” he said.

Ruto Plans to Accelerate the Economy

Ruto said his administration has made significant progress in stabilising the economy.

He added that the next phase is to accelerate economic growth, create wealth and jobs, and drive Kenya’s long-term transformation through collective commitment and focus.

“We have come a long way in stabilising our economy. The task ahead now is to accelerate our economic growth and create wealth and jobs. This calls for our collective commitment and focus. We will march on together, every step of our way, for the long-term transformation of Kenya,” Ruto said.

Planned Development Projects

In a statement after the meeting, Nguna asked residents of Mwingi West to get ready for President Ruto’s events and development projects in the region.

“Tighten your belts! It’s going to be busy next two weeks with President William Ruto,” Nguna said.
