The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has simplified how candidates can access their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results by introducing a digital portal.
The system allows candidates, parents, and institutions to download official result slips conveniently from the comfort of their homes.
This move is part of KNEC’s ongoing digital transformation to improve efficiency, reduce physical paperwork, and ensure timely access to examination results.
The portal is accessible at www.knec-portal.ac.ke, where candidates can verify, view, and print their results.
To access and download the KCSE result slip, candidates are advised to follow these steps:

School heads and administrators can also access the portal to download and print bulk result slips for their respective candidates.
Additionally, the system allows verification of examination results for official use, especially when applying for higher education or employment opportunities.
KNEC has cautioned the public to use only its official platforms, warning against fraudulent websites that mimic the council’s portal.
