Coast Water Works Development Agency Announces Multiple Vacancies in 6 Counties

The Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA) has announced 19 job vacancies across six coastal counties, signalling a major push to strengthen water service delivery in the region.
Operating under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, the agency oversees water development projects in Lamu, Tana River, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kwale and Taita Taveta counties.
As part of this expansion, Coast Water Works Agency is targeting skilled professionals across technical, administrative and support roles.
“The Agency wishes to recruit self – driven, result oriented, highly motivated and persons of high integrity to fill the positions listed below;” the agency stated.

- Director Corporate Services – 1 vacancy (Job Group 2)
- Senior Engineer (Mechanical) – 1 vacancy (Job Group 6)
- Principal ICT Officer – 1 vacancy (Job Group 5)
- Engineer I (Civil) – 3 vacancies (Job Group 7)
- Corporate Communication Officer I – 1 vacancy (Job Group 7)
- Engineer I (Electrical) – 2 vacancies (Job Group 7)

Application Process
Additionally, the agency has directed interested candidates to access detailed job descriptions and requirements through its official website.
“For detailed job descriptions, person specifications and application procedures, please visit the Agency’s website www.cwwda.go.ke,” the agency stated.

In addition, the agency emphasized strict compliance with application requirements on document submission.
“All submissions and attachments of all mandatory required documents should be in PDF format,” it added.
Importantly, the agency has set the application deadline as August 24, 2026, at 5:00 pm local time.
