Kitui County Announces 31 Permanent ECDE Teaching Vacancies: How to Apply

The Public Service Board of the County Government of Kitui has announced 31 permanent teaching opportunities under the Kitui County ECDE Vacancies, inviting qualified individuals to apply for the positions.
Specifically, the vacancies fall under the County Ministry of Education, Training and Skills Development, within the Department of Basic Education, ECDE Centres and Childcare Facilities, according to the official notice issued by the board.
To clarify its legal standing, the board outlined its constitutional foundation in the announcement.
“Kitui County Public Service Board (CPSB) is a body corporate established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act, 2012 pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010,” the notice stated.
“Section 59 of the County Governments Act 2012 outlines the functions of the CPSB among them being: appoint persons to hold or act in offices of the county public service including in the Boards of cities and urban areas within the County and to confirm appointments,” the notice stated.

Kitui County ECDE Vacancies
Consequently, Kitui CPSB invites qualified persons to apply for positions within the Kitui County Public Service under the stated legal provisions.
Under the Kitui County ECDE Vacancies, the board seeks to fill the position of Assistant ECDE Teacher III in the Department of Basic Education, ECDE Centres and Childcare Facilities.
The role falls within Job Group CPSB 14 (E) and comes on permanent terms, with a total of 31 vacancies available.
