Alionya Sends Advice to Millicent After Being Heckled in Kisumu

Political commentator Alionya Roseline has advised Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo after she was heckled by a crowd in Kisumu during an event attended by President William Ruto and members of the broad-based government on September 13.

Alionya said she felt she was among the least qualified people to advise Odhiambo, whom she referred to as “Bad Girl Millie”. However, she said she felt compelled to share her thoughts following the incident.

In a post shared on September 13, Alionya said Odhiambo should be clear about where her loyalty lies.

“But I honestly feel, if truly…our Bad Girl loves Babu and Sifuna, she should have been in Jacaranda today and not in Kisumu,” Alionya wrote.

She added that if Odhiambo genuinely supports President Ruto, as she had stated, she should do so wholeheartedly.

“But if she genuinely loves @WilliamsRuto like she said today, then let it be unconditional MA’AM and from your heart,” she said.

Alionya further urged the MP to listen to the wishes of her constituents if they support Linda Mwananchi.

“Ma’am If your heart and the people of Suba North prefer Linda Mwananchi, please just go there by your whole body and soul,” she added.

Alionya: ‘You Cannot Serve Two Masters’

Alionya said some people would continue supporting Odhiambo regardless of the political side she chooses.

“Some of us who love you for who you are will still love you that way🙏 regardless of where you will be,” she said.

She, however, expressed concern over the MP being heckled during the Kisumu event.

“I just HATE to see you being HECKLED at, But I also understand those people,” Alionya wrote.

She said she understood the frustrations of residents who felt they had waited for basic services for many years.

“I understand their pain of not having seen a road, electricity poll, ID registration centres etc for 60years and now Uncle William is taking these things at their doorstep,” she said.

Alionya said she admired Odhiambo for the confidence she had inspired in some people and wished to see her command respect.

“I love you for the confidence you have instilled in some of us and I would wish to see you being respected,” she wrote.

She concluded by urging Odhiambo to make a clear political choice and remain committed to it.

“This can only be achieved if you picked a side and stood by it to the end with dignity. You cannot serve two masters,” Alionya said.

Millie Responds After Being Heckled

The advice came after Odhiambo faced a hostile reception in Kisumu during an event attended by President William Ruto and members of the broad-based government.

The MP was booed by residents, with some hecklers shouting, “Wewe Kwenda!” and telling her to join Linda Mwananchi.

Odhiambo later responded to the incident in a humorous post, appearing to joke about the treatment she had received.

“Today I was heckled tharali in Kisumu. Since then am in the morgue dead. I am waiting for the next and next. 😁😁😁😁😁 Hata hivo I was very smart ptho. Kubali tu ulale,” she wrote.
