Gachagua Reveals How He Gets Govt Information, Claims to Have Support Within NIS and NPS

In an interview on KTN News, Gachagua claimed that 75 per cent of the NIS, 90 per cent of the NPS, and the entire civil service are supporting him because they are not happy with the government for how they are treating salary workers.

“75 percent of the National Intelligence Service is with me. 95 of the National Police Service is with me. The entire civil service is with me because they are very unhappy about the raiding of the pay slip,” Gachagua said.

Gachagua Receiving Protected Information from Public Servants

Gachagua said he had established secure channels through which public servants relay information to him without exposing their identities.

“I have always protected my sources. I am very careful. I’m a smooth operator. I’m able to get information from government people without exposing them,” he said.

Gachagua further alleged that government insiders had warned him about plans surrounding the June 25 anniversary of the 2025 Gen Z protests, claiming they informed him of an alleged operation and the withdrawal of Ksh 200 million to finance violence in parts of Mt Kenya and Nairobi.

“It is people within the government who told me, and I was able to forestall that,” he claimed, while urging public servants who share information with him to continue doing so.

Political Claims Regarding Intelligence Networks and Government Understanding

He also said his years in government had enabled him to build extensive intelligence networks.

The former DP claimed he is a man of dignity, and he protects his sources every time he gets new information.

These claims were made by Gachagua during the televised interview and have not been independently verified.

At the time of publication, neither the National Intelligence Service, the National Police Service, the Interior Ministry, nor State House had publicly responded to the allegations.
