Ciggie Reveals Details of 12-Year Dispute With Baby Mama Following DNA Revelation

Club host Ciggie Johnson has revealed details of a long-running dispute with his baby mama that eventually led to a DNA test after 12 years of believing he was the father of the child.

Speaking to Oga Obinna during Obinna Show live on Monday, October 5, Ciggie said his relationship with the child’s mother had been strained for years, claiming that the situation involved disagreements, blackmail, and threats of legal action.

He said he had continued providing for the child despite the difficulties, but the relationship deteriorated further over disagreements about her education and other expenses.

Ciggie Details Financial Disputes With Child’s Mother

According to Ciggie, he had been paying Ksh32,000 per term in school fees, Ksh20,000 in rent and approximately Ksh15,000 per month for food.

The club host said the situation changed after the child’s mother moved the girl to another school that charged Ksh80,000 per term without consulting him, while still expecting him to cover the expenses.

Ciggie said the disagreement eventually ended up in court, where the parties conducted a DNA test as part of the proceedings.

He also noted that the child’s mother initially declined to undergo the DNA test but was later compelled by the court to do so. The results revealed that he was not the child’s biological father.

Despite the DNA revelation, Ciggie said he had wanted the child to be his and acknowledged that he had developed a relationship with her over the 12 years.

“I wanted the child to be mine. In my heart, I wanted the child to be mine,” Ciggie said during the interview.

He, however, said the circumstances surrounding the relationship had changed how he viewed the bond he had developed with the child.

Ciggie argued that the bond was formed under what he described as false pretences, saying he had been providing for the child because he believed she was his daughter.

“The bond is there, but it’s irrelevant. The bond was created under false pretenses. And I didn’t even have the chance to love that child. I was forced to,” Ciggie said.

Club Host Says He Would Still Help the Child

He also claimed that he had been subjected to blackmail while providing for the child, adding that the strained relationship with the mother had influenced his decision to distance himself from the situation.

Ciggie further said he would still be willing to assist the child if she contacted him directly.

He said he would give the child whatever she needed if she approached him independently and without involving her mother.

“I was blackmailed for doing this. The child is kind. If the child calls me directly without even knowing about his mother, I will give the child whatever he wants,”

The club host also acknowledged that the girl knows him as her father, making the situation more complicated following the DNA revelation.

Ciggie said he had spent years providing for the child and dealing with disagreements surrounding the situation before the DNA test revealed a new reality about their relationship.
