Bahati’s Baby Mama Stops Shoes and Clothes Giveaway After Buying New Car

The baby mama of content creator and singer Bahati, Yvette Obura, has stated that she will no longer be giving out her own clothes and shoes to the fans.
In her Instagram posts, she shared on Monday, September 8, 2025, Yvette said that she chose not to do such giveaways anymore as she was viewed as desperate as a result.
“Story za giveaway nimefunga. Huku mnanifanya nakaa simp.”
She explained that she still wishes to give her audience products and brand related things but no longer personal items like clothes and footwear.
“Yes, products I will give, but shoes/clothes never ever, “she stressed.
This update had just succeeded the heart to-heart talk with Yvette in which she had expressed a sense of accomplishment- the acquisition of a new vehicle.
Yvette Obura Buys a Car
On August 29, 2025, Friday, she wrote on Instagram that she had not decided to purchase the car this early but she believed it was the right moment God wanted.
Yvette states that the first time she went to the showroom was to window shop. Surprisingly, she went away with her new vehicle which she said was both overwhelming and a blessing.
“Had you informed me in March that I would be here to-day, I would have laughed my eyes out. But God was up to something bigger, “she said.
“I went to the showroom yesterday just to do window shopping, but I paid the money to purchase the car. I was going to do it in November, but when God says, it is your time, nothing can stop it.”
Life Experience
Looking back at her life, Yvette acknowledged that she has not been on a smooth sail the whole time. According to her one of the greatest lessons she has learned is to take it at her own pace without making unneeded pressure and comparisons.
Yvete stated that, “This process has not been smooth sailing, and I have learnt to take my time and not to judge myself against others. I have complete confidence in God and nowadays I am the living testament that there are no things which God cannot do.”
