The government of Kenya has criticized Israel after it bombed a building in the State of Qatar.

In a statement, Kenya’s Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs said it has noted with great concern the attack on a building in the State of Qatar that resulted in casualties, loss of life and properties on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

“On its own admission, the State of Israel carried out this bombing. The attack is not only a clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the State of Qatar, but also poses a serious threat to regional and international peace and security,” the Ministry said.

Besides, Kenya said Israel’s conduct violates international law, undermines the principles of peace and security that all countries must uphold.

Kenya also pointed that the attack is incompatible with the United Nations 1970 Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Cooperation among States.

“Kenya urges all parties to exercise restraint, uphold the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other states, prioritize dialogue and diplomacy over violence and commit to peaceful coexistence,” the Ministry said.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyau has vowed to continue with the fight against Hamas.

Netanyau said Israel soldiers will launch attacks untill all the hostages are released.

He also warned Qatar and other countries allegedly ‘hosting terrorists’ to release them.

“We will continue to fight with vigor and determination until we bring back all of our hostages, the living and the deceased,” Netanyau said.

“And I say to Qatar and all nations who harbor terrorists, you either expel them or you bring them to justice. Because if you don’t, we will.”
