Share

With just 100 days to go until the kickoff of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) have unveiled the official ticketing process, alongside new digital tools to enhance the fan experience.

Ticket registration opens on September 12,  2025 and closes on September 24, giving supporters the chance to sign up for early notifications.

The first phase of ticket sales begins on September 25, with a pre-sale exclusive to Visa cardholders, followed by a general sale on September 27, that will make up to 30 percent of stadium capacity available.

A second phase will run from 21 to 23 October, again starting with a Visa-only pre-sale, then opening to the wider public with another 30 percent of tickets.

The third and final phase starts on November 21, when tickets for all matches will be released to the public through all payment options.

Yalla App, Fan ID and E-Visa

In a bid to streamline access and security, CAF has also introduced the Yalla App, set to launch on September 25.

The app will serve as a one-stop digital platform where fans can register for a mandatory Fan ID, access real-time updates, and enjoy tailored tournament content.

For international supporters, the app will simplify travel by offering an integrated e-visa system, replacing the need for lengthy embassy procedures.

Boost in Travel and Hospitality

Travel logistics are also being boosted. Royal Air Maroc, the official airline partner of AFCON 2025, will increase flights by over 50 percent, adding more than 660 connections to and from Morocco, particularly through Casablanca.

The airline has pledged special travel packages to cater to the African diaspora eager to attend the continent’s biggest football festival.

CAF’s Commitment to Fans

CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba emphasized that the move is part of CAF’s commitment to making AFCON 2025 more fan-friendly and accessible.

“We want every supporter to have a seamless experience—from securing tickets to entering the stadium,” he said.

As Africa’s premier football competition returns to Morocco, fans are urged to act quickly once sales open, with demand expected to be at record levels for the 35th edition of AFCON.
