Ryan Wesley Ogam Rabok is a Kenyan professional footballer born on December 21 2004, in Nairobi, Kenya.
He currently plays for Wolfsberger AC as a Centre Forward in the Austrian Bundesliga League.
Standing at 1.87M, Ogam was raised in Umoja, Nairobi. He hails from a family deeply rooted in football.
His father, Daudi Rabok Obonyo, alias David Rabuok, was a defender who played for top clubs in Kenya, such as Gor Mahia in 2008, Mahakama and Ngara Youth.
Currently, his father serves as the Chairperson of Starehe ODM Branch.
Ogam’s mother, Edith Atieno Oderah, has provided unlimited and consistent support, showcased by family celebrations when he recently moved to Austria.
Youth Career
Ogam’s youth career boasts stints from local clubs like Galaxy FC, Sunrise FC, and UEFA Despanol, with highlighted performances in the Norway Cup 2017 and the youth Tournament in Italy 2018.
He initially began as a midfielder before eventually converting to a Striker after coaches noticed his finishing prowess.
Professional Career
At the professional level, Ogam began his career with Rainbow FC in Kenya’s National Super League in 2023, followed by a short period at Elite Falcons FC in the UAE later that year.
Around June the next year, 2024, he joined Tusker FC back home in Kenya, FKF Premier League, netting 15 goals in 17 appearances during the 2024/2025 season until he suffered a meniscus tear before having surgery earlier 2025.
His proposed transfer to USM Alger failed due to release clause dispute that wasn’t resolved.
On September 1, he signed with the Austrian Bundesliga side based club Wolfsberger AC, making him the first Kenyan ever in the Austrian top flight.
He arrived in Vienna on the 25th of September this year, received by the Kenyan Embassy and the club’s officials.
He was handed a jersey number 11. As of September 29 ,he hasn’t made his debut but was captured celebrating with teammates after the recent win.
Harambee Stars Debut
Ogam made his debut for Harambee Stars on January 4 2025, scoring against Tanzania in the Mapinduzi Cup.
Key match highlights include the 1-0 winning goal against Morocco in CHAN 2024 and the 5-0 World Cup qualifier against Seychelles on September 9 2025.
So far, he has made 9 caps( 7 stats, 2 substitutes)and 6 goals total. In the World Cup Qualifiers, he has 3 goals.
