Kiambu National Polytechnic has announced training program with job opportunities in Germany for willing and qualified individuals.

The Polytechnic has partnered with BSZ Erding and DEHOGA Bavaria to offer a Hospitality Apprenticeship Programme in Germany for Kenyans.

Basic requirements needed for applicants 

All interested applicants must meet the following requirements so that they can be shortlisted for this opportunity.

1. Basic German Language – candidate should have scored a Minimum Level A1 or equivalent.

2. Hospitality training background in Food & Beverage or Catering & Accommodation Holders – therefore should possess a minimum Artisan / Level 4 or their equivalent.

Another alternative is applicant can have working experience of at least 2 years in the hospitality industry.

3. Age between 18 – 24 years

Programme Details

1. Mode of Training

This program will be Blended at Kiambu National Polytechnic for a period of 6 months.

Training will officially start from January to July 2026.

2. Areas of training

Candidates will be taken through German Language Training and Hospitality Curriculum

3. Apprenticeship training in German Hotels

Candidates who will successfully graduate after six months will therefore be placed in leading hotels in Germany for a paid apprenticeship in preparation for entry into the German job market.
