The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) of Kenya has announced the recruitment of judges of the Court of Appeal.

JSC has announced applicants who submitted their qualifications and candidates who have been shortlisted for the positions.

In a public notice, on June 9th, 2025 JSC advertised fifteen (15) vacancies in the Office of Judge of the Court of Appeal of Kenya.

It welcomed applications from qualified persons wishing and interested to be appointed in those positions.

A total of ninety -four (94) applicants submitted their request at the close of the advertisement on July 7th, 2025.

After review of applications, JSC shortlisted 35 candidates for the positions of judge of the Court of Appeal.

According to JSC, picking of eligible candidates was based on completeness and conformity of requirements based in the advert.

The commission said it will organize interview date for the shortlisted candidates in due course.
