A beautiful atmosphere of love and celebration filled the air at Serena Hotel in Nairobi on October 26, 2025, as Abdinoor Oketch Salah married his bride Isra Ibrahim Hamza in a big ceremony that saw family, friend,s and national leaders.

Some of the guests included Siaya Senator Dr. Oburu Odinga, Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi, among others in commemorating the happy union with the families.

Dr. Oburu Odinga, who was representing the Odinga family, gave warm congratulations and reflected on Sala’s long history with the Odinga family especially the late Raila Odinga.

“Oketch Salah is not just my friend but our extended family.

He has walked closely with Raila Odinga for years, offering undying loyalty, service, and dedication.

His humility and commitment have earned him a special place in our circle, and today we are proud to witness his son get married and start this new chapter with his wife,”Dr Oburu said.

According to those close to the family, Oketch Salah has always been one of the youthful trusted aides who have assisted Raila Odinga in his political and community initiatives, especially in areas of youth mobilization and mobilization at grassroots.

His consistency and relaxed nature have seen him become a known and trusted personality within the Odinga network, both in Nairobi and Nyanza.

Dr. Oburu praised the groom’s discipline and faith, describing him as “a young man of integrity who presents himself with grace and respect.”

“As you begin your life together with Isra, may Allah guide and bless your home with peace, patience , many children and understanding.

Marriage, just like leadership, involves listening, compromising, and joint vision, which you already have, “he said.

Opiyo Wandayi, who was also present during the ceremony, praised Oketch Salah, terming him as a bridge between generations of leaders.

“He represents a new generation of youth who value loyalty, service, and family,” Wandayi said

The ceremony was full of laughter, prayer, and cultural richness, with the guests celebrating the couple with heartfelt blessings.
