The Social Health Authority (SHA) Board has announced the appointment of CPA Pariken Ole Sankei as the new Director of Internal Audit.
In a statement on October 29, SHA said the appointment follows a competitive and transparent recruitment process that began on July 29, 2025.
CPA Ole Sankei is a seasoned professional Internal Auditor, bringing over twenty years of vast experience from both the public and private sectors.
His extensive public sector experience includes leadership roles as Head of Internal Audit at the defunct National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), the Public Service Commission (PSC), and the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA).
He has also been serving the Social Health Authority as the Acting Director of Internal Audit, a role he will now officially transition from.

Ole Sankei holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Public Secretary (CPS), holding professional memberships in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

His wealth of experience will be vital as he joins the senior leadership team in steering the Authority’s mandate of providing financial protection and strategic purchasing of healthcare services for all Kenyans.
“The Board extends its profound gratitude to the entire staff for their unwavering dedication and support provided to the interim senior management team during the transition period,” SHA said.
