The Kenya Meteorological Department (Kenya Met) has issued a weather outlook for the next five days, starting from October 30th to November 3rd.

Morning rains are likely to occur over a few places in the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the Rift Valley.

In the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will follow over several places.

At night, there will be showers in several places.

Maximum average temperatures will range from 31°C, while minimum average temperatures will range at 08°C.

The counties in this region are: Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and West Pokot

North-western

Turkana and Samburu counties will experience morning rains over a few places, breaking sunny intervals on the 1st day of the forecast, and rains will persist until the end of the forecast.

During the afternoon, sunny intervals will occur on the first day of the forecast, while showers will persist over a few places until the end of the forecast.

Night will be partly cloudy, and showers will also be experienced in some places.

Maximum average temperatures will range around 37°C, while minimum average temperatures will be at 08°C.

Highlands East of the Rift Valley

Morning rains will occur in a few places.

Kenya Met said showers will occur in the afternoon.

Showers will also occur at night.

Maximum average temperatures will range from 31°C, and minimum average temperatures will be at 05°C.

Counties in this region include: Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka Nithi, and Nairobi.

North-Eastern

These region has five counties, which include Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo.

Morning rains will occur over a few places, breaking into sunny intervals.

Showers over a few places in the afternoon and night.

Maximum average temperatures will range from 37°C, and minimum average temperatures will range from 16°C.

South-eastern lowlands

This region comprises Kitui, Makueni, Machakos, Kajiado, and Taita Taveta Counties, as well as the inland parts of Tana River County.

Kenya Met said morning rains will occur over a few places, and will turn into sunny intervals and cloudy, and sunny intervals will also occur.

Showers over a few places and sunny intervals are likely to occur in the afternoon.

Night will be partly cloudy with showers.

Maximum average temperatures will be 32°C, while minimum average temperatures will be 13°C.

Coast

Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale Counties, as well as coastal parts of Tana River, are counties in the coastal region.

In the morning, there will be showers alongside sunny intervals.

Showers and sunny intervals will persist in the afternoon.

Night will be partly cloudy and sunny intervals.

Maximum average temperatures will range from 33°C, while minimum average temperatures will be 22°C.
