Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has gazetted the selection panel of new members to the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC).

In a gazette dated on November 4, 2025, members were appointed following the declaration of impending vacancies.

“Congratulations to the selection panel for the recruitment of new members to the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), following the declaration of impending vacancies,” said CS.

He added that the new team will uphold transparency and accountability in strengthening national unity.

“We are confident the panel will uphold integrity, fairness, and transparency in this important national duty, which will strengthen unity and cohesion across Kenya,” he added.

Newly appointed members will start working with effect of the gazette notice.

Murkomen Declares Vacancies

The Cabinet Secretary has declared impending vacancies in the position of chairperson and other seven members of the commission with effect from November 17th, 2025.

“NOW THEREFORE, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission Act as read with the procedure set out under Paragraph 2 of the First Schedule to the Act, do hereby:

I. DECLARE impending vacancies in the position of Chairperson and seven (7) Members of the Commission, with effect from the 17th November, 2025,” read part notice.
