The Kenya Meteorological Department (Kenya Met) has issued a five-day weather outlook valid from November 7 to November 11, 2025.

In the forecast on November 6, 2025, Kenya Met said rainfall is expected to continue in several parts of the country, most notably in the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, the South-eastern lowlands, and North-eastern Kenya.

The Highlands West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the Rift Valley

Morning rains are likely to occur over a few places with sunny intervals.

Kenya Met said the afternoon will experience Showers and thunderstorms in a few places.

In addition, nights will be partly cloudy and showers will occur in a few places.

Maximum temperatures will not be below 29°C, while minimum temperatures will not exceed 12°C.

This region consists of counties like Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and West Pokot.

North-western

Turkana and Samburu Counties will experience morning rains and sunny intervals in a few places.

Showers and thunderstorms over a few places and sunny intervals in the afternoon.

Nights will be partly cloudy and will give a chance of showers in some places.

Maximum temperatures will range from 36°C – 37°C, while minimum temperatures will not be below 10°C.

Highlands East of the Rift Valley

Cloudy, breaking into sunny intervals and rains in the morning.

The afternoon will experience showers in a few places.

Nights will be partly cloudy with showers in a few places.

Maximum temperatures are below 30°C, while minimum temperatures are below 11°C.

The region comprises Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka Nithi, and Nairobi counties.

North-Eastern

Kenya Met said morning rains and sunny intervals will occur over a few places.

Showers over sunny intervals will continue in the afternoon.

During nighttime, some places will receive showers while other places will be partly cloudy.

Maximum temperatures will not exceed 38°C, while minimum temperatures will range from 17°C.

Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo are five counties found in this region.

South-eastern lowlands

Morning rains and sunny intervals over a few places.

Sunny intervals and showers in the afternoon.

Nights will be partly cloudy and showers over a few places.

Maximum temperatures will not exceed 34°C, while minimum temperatures will not fall below 14°C.

This region has counties like Kitui, Makueni, Machakos, Kajiado, and Taita Taveta Counties, as well as the inland parts of Tana River County.

Coast

Morning showers will occur.

Sunny intervals and showers over a few places in the afternoon.

Nights will be partly cloudy and showers.

Maximum average temperatures will range at 32°C – 33°C, while minimum temperatures will be from 23°C to – 24°C.

Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale Counties, as well as coastal parts of Tana River County, are counties in the coastal region.
