The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced a scheduled maintenance exercise on its Integrated Customs Management System (iCMS), set to take place on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
According to a notice issued by the Authority, the exercise will begin at 6:00 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. the same day.
KRA has stated that during the maintenance window, the iCMS platform will be unavailable to all users.
This means importers, exporters, clearing agents, and other stakeholders relying on the system for customs processes will not be able to access its services.
In its communication, KRA said, “The Kenya Revenue Authority informs all stakeholders that there will be a scheduled maintenance of the iCMS System.”
The notice further explained that, “During this period, the iCMS System will be unavailable.”

The Authority expressed its regret over the temporary disruption, acknowledging that the downtime may inconvenience users.
“Any inconvenience caused is highly regretted,” the statement read.
The scheduled maintenance is part of KRA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of its digital platforms.
The iCMS system plays a crucial role in streamlining customs operations, facilitating trade, and ensuring compliance across Kenya’s ports and border points.
By temporarily taking the system offline, KRA aims to implement essential updates and improvements that will support smoother service delivery once operations resume.
