Motorists using Nairobi’s Haile Selassie Avenue have been cautioned to expect traffic interruptions over four days, following a public notice issued by the Co-operative Bank on November 12, 2025.
The bank revealed that from Thursday, November 13, sections of the road’s service lane will be affected as it carries out technical operations at its Co-operative Bank House premises.
According to the statement, the disruption will result from the “lifting and placement of heavy equipment” at the bank’s headquarters situated along Haile Selassie Avenue.
In its official notice, the bank stated, “Co-op Bank will be lifting & placing some heavy equipment on our Co-operative Bank House building.”
“Due to this, there will be traffic disruption along the service lane on Haile Selassie Avenue,” the bank added.
The activity is expected to inconvenience drivers near major landmarks, including the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) offices.
