Kenyan students now have an exciting opportunity to work and live in France, as the Language Teaching Assistant Program in France for 2026-2027 officially opens applications.
The program, organized by the French Ministry of Education in collaboration with the French Embassy in Kenya, offers Kenyan students 170 vacancies as English Language Assistants in public schools across mainland France and the French Overseas Departments.
Successful candidates will start seven months of teaching English in classes, assisting teachers, and sharing the Kenyan culture, as well as helping French students improve their spoken and written English.
The project aims to deepen cultural and linguistic exchanges between Kenya and France, providing young Kenyans with positive international exposure levels and teaching experience.
It also promotes international understanding through education and language learning.
