The Sifuna family is in mourning following the demise of their Uncle, Roy Bulinya Sifuna.
Family and friends attended a memorial service in his honor at St. Francis Catholic Church in Kasarani.
During the service, Uncle Bulinya was remembered as “a brilliant engineer who was always polite, patient, and kind,” reflecting the rare qualities that endeared him to many in the family.
“Very few of us in the family can be described in those terms,” said Sifuna, highlighting the exceptional nature of his character.
The late Roy Bulinya Sifuna will be buried on Saturday in the Siaka village, Kanduyi, Bungoma County.
Senator Sifuna, who shared the news on social media, expressed the family’s grief and called for prayers for his uncle’s soul.
“We gathered to celebrate a life well-lived and say goodbye to a man whose kindness and professionalism touched us all. May his soul rest in peace,” he posted on X.
Friends, relatives, and colleagues have been paying their respects, remembering Uncle Bulinya for his dedication to engineering and his gentle personality.
The Sifuna family continues to draw strength from their memories of him as they prepare for his final farewell.
His legacy,they say will continue to inspire generations of family members and those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Senator Sifuna initially lost his uncle Lawrence Sifuna on December 4,2023,who represented the Bumula constituency in the earlier editions of parliament in the 1980s.
