The footballing world turns to Africa this weekend for the AFCON 2025, which will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
The competition will feature 24 national teams competing in 52 matches across nine stadiums in Morocco.
On Sunday, December 21, the host nation will face Comoros at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, marking the start of a month-long festival of football that promises to be the most accessible in the tournament’s history.

In a landmark move for African football, CAF has secured record-breaking media partnerships, ensuring that fans in over 24 countries across the globe can watch the action live.
In Kenya, the tournament will be aired on KBC, Azam, and SuperSport, with the DSTV App serving as the primary streaming platform.
In Europe and the Americas, several major networks have secured rights.
The United Kingdom will broadcast games on BBC Three, Sky Sport, and CANAL+, while streaming is available via Channel 4 and YouTube.
Fans in the United States and France can watch on beIN SPORTS, with streaming available through beIN SPORTS CONNECT in the US and MyCANAL in France.
In Brazil, Band will serve as the TV broadcaster, though the streaming platform is yet to be confirmed, while Global can stream on DAZN, beIN SPORTS CONNECT
CAF also noted that it will offer official highlights, replays, and behind-the-scenes content via its own CAF YouTube Channel and the official CAF TV App.

The 35th edition of the biennial tournament will be held across nine venues in six cities, the most ever for an AFCON, four of which are located in the country’s capital, Rabat.
