Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) is a Kenyan public university located in Kakamega County, Western Kenya.

The University dates back to January 5, 1972, when it was established as the Western College of Arts and Applied Sciences (WECO).

On September 30, 2007, the Institution became a full-fledged University through an Act of Parliament and was renamed Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST).

MMUST has other campuses, which include Webuye Campus, located in Webuye, Bungoma County.

Bungoma Campus, situated in Bungoma County, and Nairobi Campus, located at Agriculture House, 3rd Floor, Nairobi.

The University has several schools which offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and Diploma and Certificate programs.

Undergraduate programs require a minimum mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE, Diploma Courses need a minimum of C- at KCSE and for Certificate programs, candidates need to have at least D+ in KCSE.
