The Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) has issued a public warning regarding a fake job advertisement that is being spread on different social media platforms, cautioning job seekers against falling victim to fraudsters.

In a statement, the Corporation made it clear that the advertisement does not originate from Kenya Railways and urged the public to exercise vigilance.

“We wish to alert members of the public about a false job advertisement doing the rounds on various social media platforms.”

People desperate to secure jobs were asked to verify the opportunities through the official channels.

Kenya Railways reminded job seekers never to provide personal details or submit applications without first ascertaining the authenticity of a recruitment notice.

The corporation emphasized that all legitimate job vacancies are communicated exclusively through its official channels.

“We strongly advise job seekers to be cautious and verify any job adverts through our website:krc.co.ke,” KRC said.
