The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has an urgent notice to all stakeholders, party members, and aspiring candidates.
In the notice on January 3, UDA National Election Board (NEB) Chairman Anthony Mwaura said phase III of the grassroots registration has been extended in 20 counties.
The counties include:
“The National Elections Board of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) hereby informs all concerned parties that the registration period for Phase III Polling Centre-Level Grassroots Elections slated for Saturday, January 10, 2026, has been extended,” Mwaura said.
He explained that the extension has been granted to accommodate party members returning from the festivities and to provide them with sufficient time to register, verify, and validate their details with the party.
Revised Deadline: The registration deadline, initially set for Friday, January 3, 2026, has been extended to Monday, January 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
“All eligible party members and aspiring candidates are strongly encouraged to complete their registration within the extended period. For further inquiries, please contact the National Elections Board.” Mwaura said.
