UDA Sends Urgent Message to Party Officials, Members & Candidates

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has an urgent notice to all stakeholders, party members, and aspiring candidates.

In the notice on January 3, UDA National Election Board (NEB) Chairman Anthony Mwaura said phase III of the grassroots registration has been extended in 20 counties.

The counties include:

  1. Embu
  2. Elgeyo/Marakwet
  3. Kiambu
  4. Kericho
  5. Kirinyaga
  6. Laikipia
  7. Meru
  8. Nakuru
  9. Murang’a
  10. Nandi
  11. Nyandarua
  12. Samburu
  13. Nyeri
  14. Trans Nzoia
  15. Tharaka-Nithi
  16. Uasin Gishu
  17. Baringo
  18. Kakamega
  19. Bomet
  20. Vihiga

New Dates

“The National Elections Board of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) hereby informs all concerned parties that the registration period for Phase III Polling Centre-Level Grassroots Elections slated for Saturday, January 10, 2026, has been extended,” Mwaura said.

He explained that the extension has been granted to accommodate party members returning from the festivities and to provide them with sufficient time to register, verify, and validate their details with the party.

Revised Deadline: The registration deadline, initially set for Friday, January 3, 2026, has been extended to Monday, January 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

“All eligible party members and aspiring candidates are strongly encouraged to complete their registration within the extended period. For further inquiries, please contact the National Elections Board.” Mwaura said.

UDA County-Based Support Teams

Following this extension, the Party Secretariat has established County-Based Support Teams to assist members and candidates who may be experiencing challenges during registration.

Mwaura advised participants to contact the designated support persons for their respective counties as listed below.

“The Secretariat will work closely with these teams to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process,” he said.
