Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, and Senegal have officially punched their tickets to the CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2025 semi-finals.
After a series of thrilling quarter-final clashes, only four giants remain in the hunt for continental glory.
The financial rewards for African football continue to climb.
Following a CAF Executive Committee meeting in Rabat, it was announced that the winner of AFCON 2025 will receive a record $10 million USD.
This 43% jump from the $7 million awarded in 2023 reflects a broader trend of investment; the top prize has seen a 100% increase over the last four years.
Under the new guidelines, the second-place team will earn $4 million, while the final four participants are guaranteed $2.5 million each.
