Demands to Govt

PFF described the situation as a tragedy, saying that a man who has devoted his life to the health and freedom of others is being denied his own right to medical care.

The group held the government and prison authorities fully accountable for Dr. Besigye’s well-being and demanded that his personal doctors and family be granted immediate, unrestricted access.

PFF reiterated that the opposition leader is being held in violation of the law and called for his release to ensure he receives proper medical attention.

“It is a tragedy that a man who has dedicated his life to the health and freedom of others is being denied his own right to medical dignity. We hold the regime and the prison authorities fully accountable for his well-being,” PFF said.

“We ask all compatriots and lovers of freedom to keep Dr. Besigye in your prayers and to remain vigilant. We will continue to provide updates as more details emerge from our teams on the ground,” PFF added.
