Renowned Governance and policy expert Ahmed Hashi has announced bid to replace Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalango, as the Langata Member of Parliament.
While speaking at Spice FM, the governance expert announced that he is the right candidate to unseat the Langata MP.
Hashi announced that he will run for Lang’ata MP, serve for one term, and his salary will be given to women.
“I am not going to take a salary for Langata for five years, and I am not going to stand again. I am going to stand one time set an example, and go back to what I was doing before,” said Hashi.
He also outlined one of his key policies for supporting families.
“One of the first things I want to implement is to give KSh 10,000 to young men who have one or two children. This amount can go up to KSh 20,000 per month to help them buy essentials like food and diapers. This support will also help stimulate the economy,” Hashi explained.
