IRA Announces 51 Job Opportunities-How to Apply

The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) has announced 51 job opportunities across various departments within the institution.

In a notice dated Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the Authority invited qualified candidates to apply.

“The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) is a State Corporation established under the Insurance Act, Cap 487 of the Laws of Kenya, with the mandate to regulate, supervise, and promote the development of the insurance industry in Kenya. The Authority is seeking applications for the following vacant positions,” read part of the notice.

IRA Announces Job Opportunities

According to the announcement, the advertised positions include Assistant Director, Supervision (Prudential & Licensing) with three vacancies; Assistant Director, Cybersecurity Supervision with two vacancies; Assistant Director, Finance with one vacancy; Assistant Director, Information Communication Technology with one vacancy; and Assistant Director, Human Resource Management with one vacancy.

Interested applicants are required to submit their applications online by filling out the form provided at the link below: IRA Job Application – January 2026 (Fill in Form)

The Insurance Regulatory Authority further directed that all applications must be submitted by Monday, February 16, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

Successful candidates will be required to comply with Chapter Six of the Constitution by submitting mandatory compliance and clearance certificates upon entering into a contract of service with the Authority.

The Authority noted that the terms and conditions of service for the advertised positions shall apply in accordance with its approved Human Resource Instruments. Further details on the positions are available on the IRA website: www.ira.go.ke.
