Lang’ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, has promised to sponsor Kenya’s most famous Manchester United supporter, Kevin Masagara, on a dream trip to Old Trafford Stadium in England to watch the club play live.
The announcement came in a video shared on Jalang’o’s Instagram page on Saturday, February 7, 2026, where he explained why he felt compelled to step in and support Masagara’s longstanding dream.
Jalang’o began by congratulating Masagara on surpassing one million followers on social media, describing him as Kenya’s number one Manchester United fan.
“First, congratulations on hitting one million followers. Can you imagine Kevin Masagara has never been to Old Trafford? He has never watched Manchester United play live,” Jalang’o said.
The MP expressed his surprise that such a passionate and globally recognized fan had never seen his beloved team in person, despite his massive online presence.
Jalang’o unveiled the campaign titled “Masagara to Manchester-Old Trafford, Here We Come,” which he said will document and support the entire journey from Kenya to England.

“This time, we want to take Kevin Masagara to Manchester to watch Manchester United live. I’m telling you, it is possible,” he said, stressing his confidence that the plan can be successful.
Although Jalang’o admitted he has never met Masagara in person, he explained that he plans to reach out to begin organising the details, including securing a passport and visa.
“I don’t know where we are going to start, but I am making Kevin Masagara’s dream of watching Manchester United at Old Trafford come true,” he added.
Jalang’o also emphasised that the experience won’t be limited to just watching a game.
