KeNHA and Pharmacy and Poisons Board Announce Permanent and Pensionable Jobs

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced permanent and pensionable positions within the institution.

In a notice dated Tuesday, February 10, the Authority called on qualified candidates to apply.

“The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), a State Corporation under the Ministry of Roads and Transport, was established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, and is charged with the mandate to manage, develop, rehabilitate, and maintain national trunk roads. The Authority invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions on permanent and pensionable terms of service,” said KeNHA.

KeNHA directed interested candidates who meet the outlined requirements to submit their applications online using the designated links:

The Authority noted that detailed job descriptions and qualification requirements are available on its website, www.kenha.co.ke.

According to the Authority, applications must be submitted no later than Monday, March 2, 2026, at 5:00 pm. KeNHA cautioned that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews and warned that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to meet the Leadership and Integrity provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya. During the interview stage, applicants will be expected to present clearance documents from the following institutions:

  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
  • Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) – Tax Compliance Certificate
  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) – Clearance or proof of ongoing repayment
  • National Police Service – Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

KeNHA clarified that these documents are not required at the point of application.

Pharmacy and Poisons Board Announce Permanent and Pensionable Jobs

Elsewhere, the Pharmacy and Poisons Board also announced permanent and pensionable jobs.

In a notice dated Tuesday, February 10, the Board invited qualified candidates to apply.

“The Pharmacy and Poisons Board (“the Board”) is the National Medicines Regulatory Authority of Kenya, established under Section 3 of the Pharmacy and Poisons Act, Cap 244 of the Laws of Kenya. The Board is mandated to protect and promote public health by regulating the pharmacy profession and ensuring access to quality, safe, and effective health products and technologies (“HPTs”). The Board is seeking to recruit qualified candidates to fill the following positions,” read the notice.

The deadline for submission is Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 11:59 pm (EAT).

PPB stressed that the Board does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.

Applicants must be registered with their relevant professional bodies and possess a valid practising licence, where applicable.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and canvassing will result in automatic disqualification.
