The Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products, which will be in force from February 15, 2026, to March 14, 2026.
In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene decreased by Ksh.4.24 per litre, Ksh3.93 per litre, and Ksh 1.00 per litre, respectively.
The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024, and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.
“In accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, we have calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products which will be in force from 15th February 2026 to 14th March 2026,” EPRA noted.
The average landed cost of imported Super Petrol decreased by 2.69% from US$592.24 per cubic metre in December 2025 to US$576.34 per cubic metre in January 2026; Diesel decreased by 6.37% from US$626.75 per cubic metre to US$586.80 per cubic metre while Kerosene decreased by 1.44% from US$607.55 per cubic metre to US$598.82 per cubic metre over the same period.
In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene now retail at Ksh 178.28, Ksh 166.54, and Ksh 152.78, respectively, effective midnight for the next 30 days.
In Mombasa, Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene now retail at Ksh 175, Ksh 163.26, and Ksh 149.49.
Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene now retail at Ksh 177.34, Ksh 165.95, and Ksh 152.21, respectively, in Nakuru.

In Eldoret, Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene now retail at Ksh 178.16, Ksh 166.67, and Ksh 153.03.
In Kisumu, Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene now retail at Ksh 178.16, Ksh 166.76, and Ksh 153.03.

For the period of January 15 to February 14, 2026, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) reduced fuel prices, with Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene dropping by Ksh 2, Ksh 1, and Ksh 1 per litre respectively, bringing the new retail prices in Nairobi to Sh182.52, Sh170.47, and Sh153.78 effective at midnight for the next 30 days.
In the December review, in Nairobi, motorists paid Ksh 184.52 for Super Petrol, Ksh 171.47 for Diesel, and Ksh 154.78 for Kerosene.
