Share

Sage has officially launched Sage Intacct in Kenya, introducing an intelligent, AI-powered financial management platform tailored for mid-sized businesses seeking to modernise and scale their operations.

The move marks a significant milestone for Kenya’s growing digital economy, giving finance teams access to cloud-native tools designed to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and provide real-time financial visibility.

Sage Intacct is built as a cloud-native, AI-enabled platform that automates core finance functions while delivering real-time dashboards and data-driven insights.

The solution supports complex business environments with multi-entity consolidation, multi-currency management, and seamless integrations through open APIs.

By embedding artificial intelligence across processes such as purchasing, cash management, and reporting, the platform allows finance professionals to move beyond spreadsheet-heavy tasks and focus on strategic decision-making.

Key benefits include intelligent automation of workflows, enhanced fraud detection through outlier analysis, smart bank reconciliation rules, and scalable innovation for businesses expanding across multiple entities.

Supporting Kenya’s Digital Transformation

Jordaan Burger, Managing Director for Sage AME, said the launch reflects Sage’s commitment to Kenya’s fast-growing SME and mid-market sector.

“At Sage, innovation is driven by our customers’ needs. Launching Sage Intacct in Kenya reflects our commitment to supporting the country’s growing community of SMBs and mid-market organisations with intelligent, AI-powered financial technology as they accelerate their digital transformation journeys.”

“As one of Africa’s fastest-growing technology and innovation hubs, Kenya continues to set the pace as today’s finance leaders need real-time insights, intelligent automation, and scalable cloud platforms to keep up with that momentum.”

Darius Bester, Senior Accountant at Q4 Fuel (Pty) Ltd, highlighted how Sage Intacct transformed the company’s finance operations.

“As Q4 Fuel scaled into a complex, multi-entity operation, our legacy systems could no longer keep up. Sage Intacct has transformed how we run finance across the group, giving us real-time visibility across all 28 entities, stronger control over assets and compliance, and faster, more reliable reporting.”

He added that the company reduced its month-end close by up to 10 days and cut invoice processing time from a full day to just a few hours, achieving 10–20% month-on-month efficiency gains.

“By integrating directly with our POS and operational systems, we’ve eliminated manual imports and improved data integrity, allowing our finance team to focus on higher-value work like inventory and margin analysis.”

Built for a Future-Ready Economy

Gerhard Hartman, Vice President for Medium Business, Sage Africa & Middle East, said Sage Intacct is designed for organisations embracing cloud transformation.

“Sage Intacct is purpose-built for this moment, helping organisations not only automate and streamline financial operations, but also unlock the insight, agility, and innovation needed to lead in Kenya’s next phase of economic growth.”
