Kenya Airways Announces Temporary Repatriation Flights to and From Dubai

Share

Kenya Airways will operate limited repatriation flights between Nairobi and Dubai this week following approval by Dubai Airport authorities.

The carrier announced that a Nairobi-to-Dubai repatriation flight will operate on March 4, with a return Dubai-to-Nairobi flight scheduled for March 5. The flights are strictly for repatriation purposes and are not part of the airline’s regular schedule.

“We will operate repatriation flights from Nairobi to Dubai on 04 March 2026 and from Dubai to Nairobi on 05 March 2026,” the airline stated.

The update emphasized that the notice is “for information only,” highlighting the limited and exceptional nature of the operations.

Flights Limited to Repatriation Travel

Kenya Airways said the approval follows authorization by authorities in the United Arab Emirates to resume limited operations at Dubai International Airport beginning March 2, allowing only a small number of repatriation flights.

The airline advised customers in Dubai not to proceed to the airport until they receive confirmed departure details.

“Customers are advised to check their flight status … and update their contact details through the Manage Booking option on our website so we can reach them directly with further updates,” the statement read.

By updating contact details, passengers will be able to receive real-time notifications regarding any schedule adjustments or additional travel instructions.
