Steps:
- Go to the registration portal:

Fill in your details:
- First name and last name
- Phone number
- Email address
- County/branch
Choose whether you want to be a volunteer or a member.
Submit the form and wait for a response from your local branch.
Once registered, the organisation may invite you for orientation or training.

Visit a Kenya Red Cross Branch
You can also join physically.
Steps:
- Visit the nearest Red Cross branch office.
- Inform them you want to join as a volunteer or member.
- Fill out a membership/volunteer form.
- Attend orientation or training.
The organisation advises interested people to “visit the nearest Kenya Red Cross branch and sign up.”
Choose Your Membership Category
If you want to be a member, you pay a small annual fee depending on your age:
- Youth in school (7-18): about Ksh 100 per year
- Youth out of school (18-30): about Ksh 500 per year
- Ordinary member (above 30): about Ksh 1,000 per year
- Life membership: about Ksh 5,000 one-time.
Members can attend activities, events, and branch programs.

- Be willing to attend training
- Respect communities and beneficiaries
You do not need medical training-they train volunteers.
What Volunteers Do
