The Makueni County Public Service Board has announced 62 job vacancies across various departments in the county government, offering qualified candidates an opportunity to apply.
In a notice released by the board, the Makueni County Public Service Board invited interested candidates who meet the required qualifications to apply for the positions.
The Makueni County Government advertised several roles, including Chief Officer for Infrastructure, Transport, and Public Works, Chief Officer for Information Communication Technology, and Chief Officer for Agriculture.
The Department of Lands, Urban Planning and Development, Environment and Climate Change is also seeking to recruit a Director for Lands, Urban Planning and Development.

Department of Health Services
On the other hand, the Department of Health Services needs one senior assistant director of medical services, a medical specialist, an anesthesiologist, a senior assistant director of medical services, a medical specialist, radiologist, and a senior assistant director of medical services, a medical specialist, clinical pathology.
They also stated that they are hiring a senior assistant director of medical services, a medical specialist, a general surgeon, a senior assistant director of pharmaceutical services, oncology pharmacist.
The county Government advertised a vacancy for two senior assistant directors of pharmaceutical services, a pharmaceutical specialist, four medical officers, 14 registered nurses, two medical laboratory assistants, four assistant public health officers, one nutritionist and dietetics technologist, one assistant physiotherapist, and two health administrative assistants.
The Department of Finance includes vacancy opportunities in Planning, Budget, and Revenue. The department needs nine revenue assistants, 11 revenue clerks, one driver, two asset managers, two asset management officers, and one senior economist.

Requirements
People who are interested have been told to submit their applications alongside other documents, including their academic certificates and identification documents.
The applications must reach the board before the deadline, which is on April 2, 2026 latest 5 00 pm East African time.
The Board said that the county Government is an equal opportunity employer an informed, qualified candidates to apply for the advertised positions.
The board said that the applicants should meet both the academic and professional requirements specified for each position that was advertised. Candidates are also expected to meet the integrity standards that are in Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.
