The Social Health Authority (SHA) has released a list of shortlisted candidates invited to interview for the position of Assistant Director Legal Services, following its November 26, 2025, recruitment notice.
According to the statement published by the Authority, a total of 56 applicants applied for the position of Assistant Director Legal Services (Grade SHA 4 — Vacancy No. SHA/245/2025).
Of those, only two candidates have been successfully shortlisted for interviews, while 54 candidates were not shortlisted.
“Subsequent to the closure of the advertisement on 17th December 2025, the applications received and the resultant shortlist are as indicated below,” the announcement reads.
Interviews are scheduled to take place at the SHA Headquarters, 10th Floor Boardroom in Nairobi on March 25, 2026.
Shortlisted candidates are required to appear before the interview panel on the specified day of the week and at specified times.
The first candidate, Cynthia Auma Akeyo, is scheduled to appear before the interview panel at 9:00 a.m., whereas the second candidate, Rowena Stella Chienge Ndeda, is scheduled to appear before the interview panel at 9:30 a.m.
The candidates are classified as female and non-disabled, of the Luo tribe.

Social Health Authority has mandated all shortlisted candidates to arrive at the interview venue at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
The candidates are expected to carry original documents such as:
Additionally, the candidates are expected to carry a stamped Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission self-declaration form or acknowledgement.
The other expected documents are recognition of qualifications such as a letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) where the qualifications were done abroad.
There is also a requirement for a letter of recommendation or good standing from professional bodies or associations where applicable.
Additionally, the statement expects the candidates to carry any other relevant documents or testimonials.

In a section titled Public Participation, the Authority invites members of the public to submit any adverse information relating to the shortlisted applicants.
Such information should be addressed to the Chairman, Social Health Authority at the SHA Building, 10th Floor, Nairobi, or emailed to recruitment@sha.go.ke.
Submissions must be received by March 23, 2026, by 5:00 p.m., the announcement emphasized.
