The announcement, dated March 16, 2026, was released by the party’s National Elections Board (NEB).

According to the notice, the vacancies affect “Member of the National Assembly for Emurua Dikirr Constituency, Narok County” and MCA positions in “Porro Ward, Samburu West Constituency, Samburu County” and “Endo Ward, Marakwet East Constituency, Elgeyo Marakwet County.”

The party has moved to initiate a structured nomination process to fill the seats.

“Notice is hereby given that the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party Nominations shall be held on Saturday March 28, 2026,” the statement reads.

Interested aspirants have been directed to apply through the party’s official online portal.

Registration Timeline and Process

The NEB has also outlined a strict timeline for the aspirants interested in participating in the nominations.

“The Registration Period will commence on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, and close on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 5.00 p.m.,” as indicated in the notice.

The party also indicated how the payment will be processed for those interested in participating in the nomination process.

It indicated that “the system will automatically prompt the aspirant to pay the nomination fee through MPESA STK Push directly from the portal.”

Nomination Fees and Compliance Requirements

UDA provided a detailed table showing their fee structure depending on the type of job and other demographic factors.

For MCA aspirants, the party’s fee is Ksh 50,000 for men, while it is Ksh 25,000 for women, youth, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
