The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has raised an alarm over an increase in fraudulent messages and emails falsely linked to its recruitment processes.
According to the Authority, several individuals have reported being contacted by unknown persons claiming to offer job opportunities in exchange for payments or sensitive personal information.
KeNHA specifically flagged a fraudulent email address-recruitment.kenha@gmail.com- which falsely claims that recruitment processes, including aptitude tests, have been rescheduled.
The Authority emphasized that such communication is not legitimate and should be ignored.
In a firm warning to the public, KeNHA maintained:
“All recruitment is conducted strictly through official channels, and KeNHA does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.”
The Authority urged job seekers to be cautious and avoid falling victim to scammers exploiting employment opportunities.
