According to information published on its portal, KUCCPS has categorised degree programmes into 20 clusters, each grouping related fields of study.

How Candidates Will Apply Once the Portal is Open

Students are advised to compare their cluster weight with previous cut-off points to assess their chances of securing specific courses.

Applying to institutions with lower cut-off points may increase the likelihood of placement.

For example, Bachelor of Laws programmes have varying cut-off points across universities, with highly competitive institutions requiring higher cluster scores compared to others.

KUCCPS is expected to announce the official opening date of the application window, after which candidates will be required to select courses based on their qualifications and preferences.

Once the portal opens, applicants will be required to log in to the KUCCPS system, select their preferred programmes, and arrange them in order of priority. Candidates must ensure they meet the minimum subject requirements for each course before submitting their choices.

They will also be required to pay an application fee through the available payment platforms, after which KUCCPS will process placements based on merit, cluster points, and programme availability.
