A social media storm erupted on Thursday, March 19, 2026, after Victor Agwaro alleged that Maxwell Odongo, the Deputy Director of the Agency for Child Relief AID (ACRA) in South Sudan, had allegedly disrupted his marriage.
Victor claimed in a detailed Facebook post that Maxwell allegedly video-called him while in bed with his wife, Margaret Akoth Ogolla, in their home in Syokimau.
He further accused Maxwell of using witchcraft to influence his wife, which allegedly led her to abandon their family.
“The devil never wastes his attacks on ordinary ground. Seven months ago, the enemy launched a brutal assault on my life through betrayal, humiliation, and a pain I never imagined I could endure,” Victor wrote.
He added, “This happened when the devil, through his agent Maxwell Odongo, got into my family and used his tricks from the underworld to confuse Margaret Akoth Ogolla, who later abandoned her family and daughter and left to live with Maxwell.”
Victor also alleged that Maxwell had sent gunmen after him in Nairobi. “When Maxwell realized I had healed and that it no longer mattered to me, however much he sent me videos and pictures of them having sex, he resorted to sending gunmen after me in Nairobi,” Victor claimed.

Maxwell Odongo addressed the allegations on social media, writing:
“I’m a very busy man; I might not have enough time to identify a good wife. I wait patiently. You get a good woman, then snatch her from you so you can get time to identify another one. Where’s the confusion?”
The post and responses sparked widespread reactions online:
Zack Opondo wrote:
“Why has Narcissist Victor Agwaro deactivated his Facebook account na ndio tumeanza? Mayooo”
Evelyn Garry urged Victor to move on:
“Victor Agwaro, just move on and let go. Threatening to share your ex-wife’s videos won’t bring her back. Women go where there’s peace and PAWA.”

Militia Savage criticized Maxwell:
“Though I still have a problem with Maxwell for insulting Victor’s mother. That was not necessary.”
Victor’s claims remain allegations, and Maxwell Odongo has not been charged or formally investigated regarding the accusations.
