Former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju has reportedly gone missing, with his family confirming that his phone is switched off.
Raphael Tuju’s son and lawyer said his phones have been switched off since the night of Saturday, March 21, 2026, and his car was found abandoned on Miotoni Lane in Karen, Nairobi.
According to family members, Tuju’s mobile phone has remained switched off since he was last seen.
They also reported that his vehicle was later found abandoned in Nairobi, raising concern over his whereabouts.

Family Seeks Help From Authorities
Relatives say efforts to trace the Tuju have not been successful so far. The family has appealed to security agencies to assist in finding out his whereabouts.
Police have not yet issued an official statement explaining the circumstances surrounding his disappearance or whether investigations had began taking place.
The incident has attracted public attention given Tuju’s prominence in national politics and also public service .
Disappearance Comes Amid Ongoing Court Disputes
Tuju’s reported disappearance comes days after court developments involving his long-running property dispute with the East African Development Bank.
Recently, the High Court declined to stop the execution of earlier rulings allowing the auction of some properties linked to his company, Dari Limited.
On the other hand, Tuju also alleged earlier this month that police officers entered his Dari Business Park property in Karen during a night operation which he described as unlawful.

Authorities are yet to provide further details regarding Tuju’s whereabouts or the circumstances under which his vehicle was found abandoned in Nairibi.
