The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has announced 101 job vacancies across various courts in the country.
In a notice dated Thursday, March 26, 2026, the Commission invited qualified candidates to apply for positions including Law Clerk, Senior Legal Researcher, and Legal Researcher.
“The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 171 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. The Commission invites applications from qualified persons to fill the positions,” read part of the notice.
The JSC is seeking to recruit one Law Clerk who will be deployed to the Supreme Court of Kenya in Nairobi.
The role involves supporting judges by conducting legal research, analyzing court pleadings, and preparing legal opinions.

A total of 22 Senior Legal Researchers will be deployed to the Court of Appeal and its registries across the country.
Successful candidates will assist judges by handling complex legal research, analyzing precedents, and preparing detailed legal arguments.

The Commission has also advertised 85 positions for Legal Researchers who will be deployed to superior courts and magistrates’ courts across Kenya.
The role focuses on supporting judicial officers through legal research, reviewing case law, and analyzing court submissions.

Interested and qualified persons should visit the JSC jobs portal: https://jsc.go.ke/jobs-2/ for detailed job descriptions, appointment requirements, and instructions on how to apply.
All applications should reach the Commission not later than April 15, 2026, at 5.00 Ρ.Μ.
The Commission noted that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Applicants were also warned that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
