KeRRA Extends Application Deadlines for Top Management and Technical Positions

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) has announced a revised submission schedule for several high-level vacancies, including the pivotal role of Director General.

In an external advertisement published on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in MyGov, the Authority extended the application deadlines for dozens of positions across its management and technical departments, providing a final window for qualified Kenyan citizens to apply.

Extended Deadlines for Senior Leadership

The most significant change affects senior management roles (Grades 1, 2, and 3), where the submission deadline has been moved from January 13 to January 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

“Reference is made to the two Notices on the subject, as published in the MyGov on 23rd December 2025, Issue No. 26/2025-2026 as well as the clarification that appeared on the Authority’s website dated 27th December 2025 This is to bring to the attention of interested applicants that; 1) The submission date for the positions listed under grade 1,2 & 3 is hereby revised,” the advert read.

The authority said all applications should be submitted ONLINE to and the letter indicating the specific position and reference number and should be addressed to: The Chairman – Board of Directors Kenya Rural Roads Authority, P.O Box 48151-00100, Nairobi, Kenya.

Further, the submission date for the positions listed under grade 4-12 is hereby extended from 13th January 2026 to 20th January 2026 by 5.00 PM.

Application Process and Requirements

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online.

  • Management Positions (Grades 1–3): Applications should be sent to managementrecruitment@kerra.go.ke.
  • Staff Positions (Grades 4 and below): Applications should be sent to staffrecruitment@kerra.go.ke.

All applicants must be Kenyan citizens and, if successful, will be required to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya regarding leadership and integrity.

This includes providing clearances from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
