As students and parents prepare for the 2026 university admissions, KUCCPS data from 2018 to 2024 shows that pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science can still be accessible in several higher learning institutions.
While programs at top universities like the University of Nairobi and JKUAT often require higher cluster points, several reputable institutions now admit students with scores of 30 and below.
An analysis of the past seven years of KUCCPS placement trends has identified 27 universities where Computer Science is attainable with an average cluster point of 30 or lower. These include a mix of established public and private universities, as well as specialised university colleges.
