The Speaker of the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Mussa Azzan Zungu (MP), has announced the death of the Member of Parliament for Special Seats, His Excellency Halima Idd Nassor. Nassor passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute in Dar es Salaam while receiving treatment.
