Motorists Association Rejects Cabinet’s Plan to Dual Kiambu Road

The Motorist Association of Kenya (MAK) has rejected the Cabinet approval of the dualling of the 23.5-kilometre Muthaiga-Kiambu-Ndumberi road (Kiambu Road). In a statement, MAK said the Cabinet’s decision sounds shiny on paper. Still, there are several sober, evidence-based reasons why the policy should not be rushed just to tick a political box before elections.
