The tournament, which was officially launched during a breakfast event in Eldoret, is expected to promote peace, cohesion and grassroots talent development through sports and athletics.

According to Murkomen, the competition will begin at the ward level on September 26, 2026, before progressing to county and inter-county stages.

The finals for volleyball will be held on October 19, 2026, while the football finals are scheduled for October 20, 2026.
